Anyway, following the visit yesterday Iβve ordered her some magnifying goggle things. She had various magnifying glass things but all had to be hand held, and her arm/hand would get tired fairly quickly. Also agreed to get her a new and much larger telly. Iβm going to get her a Samsung with built in Alexa so she can voice-control it. I did suggest audiobooks but I got the kind of βone new thing at a timeβ reaction. Plenty of light is also important. Maybe something like this?

Just remembered there is a YouTube video with the mad collie cross in it from when I was selling magnets. This was about 2007 or 8 I guess.
She was a lovely dog but now and then she would get incredibly aggressive with other dogs and try to take a bite out of them. Another rescue animal so I guess she had some issues.
Completely bonkers but a great boat dog to be fair (if it wasn't for trying to kill other dogs).
Maggie the mad one:
Someone on canalworld once got a really cool picture of her mentally biting at a vertical exhaust stack with the smoke puffing her cheeks out. Totally and utterly bonkers. Good agility she could leap from towpath to boat across about 6ft of water.
I imagine she was very rewarding for the bloke who took her on as he was prepared to sort out her problems and train her up properly.
Something I couldn't do. She would have been an incredible animal given some training . Being part long dog she went like a rocket and the sheepdog part meant wanting to do work.

I think the bloke pulling the pick out the cut looks more mental than the dog...

I think the bloke pulling the pick out the cut looks more mental than the dog... I always like a compliment Eta It was actually a bit of a scam because the tool in the video is a grubbing mattock rather than a pickaxe and therefore slightly lighter. The theme was good though at least that's what I thought at the time .

There is no voice sound on the video.
It was on the Batchworth long term moorings in Rickmansworth. I lived there briefly on the boat.

Is this why kris is on the run? "Now ALL of Nottinghamshire 'will be dragged into Tier Three' amid spike in Covid-19 cases" Now, how about the three blokes from Commercial Boat Services who went to Nottinghamshire for Tony's boat - was that really an 'essential journey'? Will they now have to spend 14 days at home in 'self quarantine'? Or will they happily go about their lives, spresding the virus they've picked up in Nottinghamshire and taken to Cheshire? www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8887861/Another-500-000-people-living-Nottinghamshire-dragged-Tier-Three.html

Jane bought me a fitbit for my birthday ... now I'm not allowed to run I'm doing exercises every other day and trying to walk everyday. Fascinating bit of kit ... has anyone got one ? I'm intrigued how many steps I'll do at work tomorrow (only four hours) but it does prompt me to keep moving and to go for a walk. Being fairly lazy by nature I'm pleased to have the prompt to move my bum Rog

I was previously totally ignorant of my blood pressure, heart rate etc. Now I have yet more worries to stress over.

Sorry to be a spoilsport.

I don't see why a corporation would be interested in my pulse rate and number of steps I take a day but they're welcome to the information.
