We have regional parties like the UDP, Sinn Fein, SNP, Plaid Cymru and now Labour which is fast becoming Greater London focussed. If their next leader and shadow cabinet is all or mainly London based then Labour will be finished in the north and will be a regional party. We need an occasional labour government to keep the conservative excesses in check, and without an effective national Labour Party it wonβt happen. Maybe the Liberals will fill the gap, but I doubt it. So I really hope they get rid of the toxic current leaders and the unelected Momentum and salvage what they can......... Time will tell.

What the hell you can do, to stop that, I don't know.

It's called parliamentary democracy. Nothing has changed re mps (not) representing their constituents, it's just become blindingly obvious even to believers of our system during the Brexit fiasco.

Heres a βsumming upβ that Jim and other such Momentum βCultβ members need to listen to and actively digest just whats being said!

And .. relax.
It is going to get even more interesting once it becomes clear that the UK will in fact not ever leave the EU.
It's not feasible. It was a fun little game to keep the Tories in power by letting the plebs "have their say" but at the end of the day one way or another the UK will stay tied to the apron strings of the EU. Its too big to turn it around.

Nail hit on head 30-40 times in just over four minutes. Unfortunately Labour has been completely taken over by the metropolitan London middle-class now and as such is unelectable. You have to wonder if the people running the Labour show now are actually Tory infiltrators sent in on some type of cloak and dagger sabotage mission.

Maybe there is a bigger picture here.
Lots of talk of really bad things happening quite soon around climate change and global warming etc.
My theory is that as it all gets more nasty there will be a general move towards a "take the money and run" attitude.
If this theory is right then there will never again be a place for left wing governments in modern developed countries.
The only logical outcome of this sort of thing would be war.
It might take a while to get up and running but it doesn't seem impossible. Russia invades UK via Norfolk in 2034.

Not so, they can become the London Labour Independence Party and lead the βinside M25β workers to the socialists paradise. Just so long as I am left behind I donβt care what they do.
