"you are a right little shit, aren't you? Raworth is as far as you and I know, complying with the instructions 100%. a person relaxing in the sun is not." Can you tell us how running (and spitting as she goes along?) in the street is potentially spreading the coronavirus less than someone sitting in a park? if you were a resident of the UK you wouldn't have to ask. I don't comment about how lock-down is managed in Finland, why do you think it is useful to comment on what happens in my country?
If you really don't understand why Sophie is permitted to do what she is doing then you are out of touch with UK regulations. Obviously your subscription to the Daily Fail has lapsed.
Since when has the UK been 'your' country. It is as much mine as yours, for I too have a UK Passport. My dad went with the British Navy to Ceylon to fight the Japs in WW2, and his father fought in WW1 & WW2. I retain my position in that if anyone else isn't allowed out, such as in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales miles from another soul, Sophie shouldn't be jogging on the streets of London. She should be arrested. Feel free to comment on Finnish politicians' incompetence too - after all, we do live in the 'Global Community' and 'Diversity is our strength'. It's a free world. Until the Communist Party of China clamps down.

Sophie Raworth is a BBC news reporter, who runs the 6 miles to her work in London, and whilst doing so took photos ... a unique time. Exercise and working are both allowed in the UK ... and her photos evidence how the vast majority here are doing the right thing, even in London. But you naughtyfox will still delight in negative , dispiriting stories, that you have not witnessed, as you drive around Finland looking for photo opportunities and lecturing everyone else about staying home. May it keep you happy Rog

Jogging from home to work is allowed as it is travel to work. Having seen photos of the underground trains stuffed full of people, I would have to say that jogging to work should be commended as she is less likely to catch and then infect others.

What happens if you live in, say, Muker, and want to go for a wander? That doesn't involve driving anywhere. Out of your front door and out - yet, if you dare to lay down and sunbathe, will the Yorkshire Police be filming you from their drones and splashing it all over the 9 O'Clock News? Because it's 'not allowed'. I say if you can't go out for a walk in the middle of the Yorkshire Moors, or hiking along Liathach, then you can't go jogging in heavily-populated London. Are any of the officious Police even wearing masks at their Police stations? Answer = No. What hypocrites. It's not even as if working for the BBC propaganda machine of the state is 'essential'.

Until the Communist Party of China clamps down. if you really consider it is your country then you are an unpatriotic eejit because it would seem you encourage the kind of behaviour exhibited by the lady in the park which is expressly forbidden. those who insist on doing it are being branded as unpatriotic and we have been warned that if this type of behaviour continues then even the 'privilege' of exercising in a public place may be withdrawn.
clearly you have your own views on what should and should not be allowed in the current emergency, and would like to replace the government's instructions with your own version. if it was 'peacetime' then your viewpoint would be held to be rebellious and anarchistic, but in view that we are effectively on a 'war' footing it is nothing less than traitorous.
if you want to retain links with the UK then keep up at the back and understand what life in 2020 is all about ...................or alternatively stay in your chosen country of residence and mind your own business.
........... and I am not interested in the slightest in the way Finland is governed.

Rubbish. I am simply saying that Sophie Raworth shouldn't be out spitting and shaking her sweat off all over the streets of London. She should be at home doing her TV stuff by video. Yes - why is 'exercising' (stopping to take photos to enhance your career!) allowed out in public? If the lady in the park should lock herself up at home, then everybody should, no exceptions. By the way - what of the homeless? To what home are they supposed to go to? All I see is you jumping on the 'virtual signalling' bandwagon, at which I am surprised as you used to have a mind of your own. Mass hysteria has got to you.

What do you mean even in London... The most densely populated part of the country ... with the highest proportion of flat dwellers (no private garden) ... and as a consequence the part of the country the snipers (like foxy) like to focus on. I imagine it can be much easier to self isolate on a boat in Cheshire than in a flat in London. Rog

I don't really give 2 jots about London, although it is my own 'local city' - I probably know London better than most people on Thunderboat. Oddly, I have just been looking at timelapse videos of the London canals as that's where we are supposed to be heading this Summer. I have neatly re-written my list of locks for the Stort-Lea-London canals. London can be interesting. Even the Witch thinks nothing of breezing through London now, and the first time we met and had a trip to London was 15 years ago. We have taken 3 Japanese girls on day trips round London. There are worse places.

Was going to write a long post about the good things that happen here (in the recent past) and in the current situation. Maybe I'll do the post tomorrow... no rush not going anywhere...

I'll await the Fox reply before I reply... Cloudy this evening so no going to the sea shore for sunset... and the small road/track I discovered we drove along earlier this afternoon after going to the household waste dump, but after a couple of kilometres it turned into a muddy mess and I said I ain't drivin' along that. So we came home. Movie on TV at 9pm... and this week, now that I have got all my paperwork and other small tasks polished off, it's time to start going through all my photos and writing about each one. Big project, but no hurry. And then to think of other things I should be getting on with - learning Japanese is tempting. Unemployed now for 3 weeks... haven't entirely wasted our time. Reasonably happy.

I don't really know anything about the London canals, so if we get there it will all be seeing that part of London from a new side. It would be good to leave the boat and walk to railway stations and explore London more, but I daren't leave the boat anywhere unattended because as we all know LONDON IS FULL OF THIEVES!! Either we'll have some big fella onboard to crush invaders' skulls, to guard the boat whilst we're away, or we'll slip through whilst the villains are asleep. I like looking at boat timelapse videos and following the course on Google Maps default/satellite views - you never know what you might cast your eye upon.

the law is the law.
Raworth was within the law.
if everyone had 'a mind of their own' in the current situation we would have a condition known as anarchy.
I thought I had explained that earlier.
