Are you talking about Peterboat?
Often wondered how he reconciled numerous vehicles, property, travel etc. with being 'eco friendly'.
Yes. Anyway, I see the personal attacks have started and I know from previous experience with the Brexit thread, that anyone who dares to have a differing opinion, is written off as a fool. Therefore il refrain from further discussion of this topic, on here anyway.considering it was you that began them (against Peterboat) .......... that is probably just

Britain suffers 175 deaths A DAY in winter due to fuel poverty. Cold weather results in many worrying about rising bills Thousands are still in fuel poverty in Britain - with some at risk of death. Fuel poverty is a problem that affects thousands of Britons every year, resulting in an estimated 16,500 deaths in the winter of 2017 to 2018 - an average of 175 a day. The latest annual fuel poverty statistics for England reveal 11 per cent of households suffer from fuel poverty; in Wales it is 12 per cent whilst in Scotland, the number rises to 25 per cent. And according to government estimates, the average fuel poor household would need £321 cut from their fuel bill to move them out of fuel poverty. For starters we will have free heating and free electric. Even our food will be cheaper. AlexOTB, Cardiff, United Kingdom, 21 minutes ago We have to remember that heating bills are very high because they are inflated by the green taxes, to help us stop global warming. Although it should have been warm enough by now that no-one would die of cold again. www.dailymail.co.uk/money/bills/article-7926033/We-reveal-12-tips-use-energy-bills-low.html#comments

Cold weather results in many worrying about rising bills I'm sure stress (including fear, worry, anxiety, paranoia, depression etc) is the biggest killer of them all. I think it's been proven that stress messes up our immune system. I wonder how many people have been killed in traffic accidents due to the fear of getting behind on social media? Maybe it's better just to worry about those immediately around us and spend less time watching the news or reading the papers or going on social media...(oops)...

It's a bit of a catch 22 though isn't it? Loneliness also leads to depression and anxiety. We're quite lucky in the boaty world as I think most of us like to chat and look out for eachother.

? where's the 'madness' ? .............. just another bit of alarmist bollox. now, if you had titled your post - " an uneventful winter drive along boring roads in a flat featureless landscape" you could have saved me the bother. ... And the best of it is, he's copied it off another driver! 😂😂😂😂

I can see the problem straight away some tit is driving down the wrong side of the road!! Everybody knows if you drive on the left you have fewer accidents

I have another video to post tomorrow - I think YouTube has a 12:00 publishing time (Noon). Have never really looked at my camera's video functions, and have been playing with the idea of making a video of our February holiday which would be a mixture of still shots and tiny video clips. Olympus cameras have, apparently (and obviously), a problem with recording their own internal whirrings. I have to see if this can be got rid of by locking the focus (one suggestion), but I think it's just a matter of tough luck. But my camera isn't a dedicated 'video camera' - more of a toy, really. You can get round this by playing music loudly whilst filming, rather than have it laid on top via a 'sound track' - but the CD-player in my bus doesn't work: it did in my previous bus and I made some amusing WhatsApp videos of scenery with Iris Dement wailing away, such as:
