Well it isn't. I don't have a job. I am a feckless dead beat layabout beer drinking waster. What more do you want ? What's your definition of a 'job'?

@bassplayer Usually the word "job" refers to a situation where a person interacts with other members of society in some sort of arrangement whereby things get done and money changes hands.
I really don't know to be honest as it something that has never been on my radar for a variety of reasons the main one being chronic debilitating CBA syndrome.
Edit to insert tag for BP.

So do you think things 'get done' without money changing hands? Or is money sometimes an excuse for CBA? For example, working around our schedule to check on our mums (both in their 90s) is a challenge sometimes but is very worthwhile for all. Is it a job? Well it seems £1000 per week is the going rate in a private home. Most of us do it for nothing . Is it a job? Neither of us do it in the hope of inheritance, we do it because we love our mums.

Did anyone spot the river at 1:03? Niskankoski (koski = rapids). Looks like this: Hmmm come July I would just love to run a wee fly down that oxygenated run, I'd wager there's a sea trout or two lurking. That's if they haven't all been eaten of course.

Yes, people go fishing here, but rarely because... well... no-one really lives up here. This is the river that runs from Kannus to Himanka (where it disgorges into the sea).

So do you think things 'get done' without money changing hands?. Yes obviously. We were discussing the word "job" and its meaning. Obviously there are other meanings like "hand job" but I believe this discussion was relating to the common practice of people spending time doing something for someone else and receiving some sort of financial consideration in exchange. I'm not quite sure what you are getting at but have asked Evangeline to do a spot of cross referencing in the system then maybe I will "get it". I suspect you may be making assumptions about something.

I suspect you may be making assumptions about something. Your definition of job implied that money has to change hands. I’m saying it doesn’t. Simple. Interestingly some formal definitions do and some don’t.
