He cant hear you, has his fingers back in his ears... Of course I can. Just having my dinner, if that's OK. Do keep up though, the EU aren't responsible for the proposals now. It's down to a bunch of tory twats. Sorry no, that's wrong, it's only down to one, the puppet master Dominic. Hands up who believed their lies and voted for them? They are heading for a priti mess too. Thanks to Corbyn, Abbott, Momentum and their supporters we're going to enjoy years ... possibly even decades of Tory misrule ... but go ahead Jim ... blame everyone else. Rog

It is gonna cost me a fair bit more IF it happens... I do hope things get better for you. Since your business started you've been beset by problems not of your own making.

Seems a pointless move to withdraw rebated fuel to me. Increased costs in farming and construction will only end up being passed on to the end consumer.

You weren't inconsiderate, probably you were right for most boaters. Can you fit a second tank for Kero? I have and its much cheaper than diesel I'll wait to see what happens. Doubt there will be any canal side sellers of kero for some time yet. In the meantime I live next to an old woodland with many months of old fallen trees that might come in useful...

I read that as well Ian E5 has dissolved some carbs so god knows what E10 will do, the article I read didnt say anything about increasing the bio content in diesel, but I suspect thats a given? My old diesel engine ran fine on full bio but acquired the boat fairly new so thats literally all it knew, but older diesels might need some seals etc? I've been reading this for a decade or more and from personal experience it's crap. What did happen was it coincided with the point that all "rubber" car parts started falling to pieces in weeks and it got the blame for anything fuel associated like seals in carbs and fuel pipe.Β My personal experience differs to yours. Iβve seen several sets of carbs and fuel tanks damaged as a result of running on e5. It is a solvent, it eats stuff.

I believe there could be a problem leaving the stuff in unused vehicles as it absorbs water, but I haven't had a problem using mine regularly - twin DRLA40's on an old 70's motor and nor has anyone else I know despite scaresabout it eating rubber parts.

Many old bikes are not used often(at all) over winter months. I used to refurb carbs for various machines. E5 does cause issues, agree that if used regularly then itβs not really a problem.

Well, don't blame me, I voted Labour. I did warn about the perils we were heading for. Now WE have to start paying for the whims of leave voters. Labour's pipe dreams would have bankrupted us and they were promising far harsher environmental measures so consider yourself lucky Boris won And there was me thinking you wanted to save the world / environment / climate with your pipe dreams of electric cars (and everyone tripping over the cables strewn about the pavements outside their houses).
