That's a shame Pete, fecking wankers want stringing up. John, the Marlin is a popular kit car with the chaps at the MCC long distance trials.

This isnt a kit it was built and registered new from the factory cost 35k new hunters are the factory car cabrios are the kit. It has a 2.3 ford engine and mt75 gearbox all the running gear is sierra but was all brand new, it has done 34k miles from new in 97. It has taken the crash well [so have i] all the suspension on the drivers side is destroyed, and the rack is in 3 bits, the drivers wing is repairable i have nearly finished all the repairs, just the top wishbone to replace which i collect tomorrow along with the repaired wheel. As you can see from pictures of them they are a toy but i do love mine and didnt trust the insurance to repair it

Well done graham. Sad, but on the other hand no doubt a relief to get the whole sale thing over and done with.

Bit tearful but glad it is over.
Not sure about the next, go back to marine find myself a semi-displacement about 30 foot twin diesels. Thought about a motor sailer but handling one would be a problem. At least I might be able to keep the freezer stocked with decent fish. Mind you no Bass this next year.
Many thanks for the thoughts

We will have to see, have to get the boat first and get it fully equipped I suppose I will have to put a second fridge in set to beer temp, whatever that is, don't know Oh and I suppose somewhere comfortable for the fishing widows/widowers lol Did I say 30 foot maybe a 40 foot

Thanks Patty, I know what you mean about those little what you going to do now and the like. Why can't they just shut up and leave one to mourn the passing of something beautiful in ones life. Have fun on the cruise and enjoy the feel of the air drifting pass as the motor throbs away.
