His favourite movie and pet's name could be two of them, I'm guessing The 3rd one has got to be mother's maiden name

But they may have had a jolly good read! Some damned fine posts going all the way back to... was it April? I would definitely bookmark this site for some bedtime reading.
As it seems, according to you, Graham, they are/were in the wrong, what could they say here? Do you really think, after the treatment you've had, that they would really explain here in detail why they left your boat in such a shocking state? Bassplayer says he contacted Rugby Boats - in what way exactly - and what have they replied to him? Any reply at all?

If I were selling boats in a marina where I felt pretty confident about the security measures in place, and I knew that in the course of the day I had appointments to show boats A, B, C & D, I might want to go to those boats beforehand and open them up, and get in some fresh air, and make it easier to show the boat by rolling back some of the canvas.
Doing some prep on a boat before you show it is a sign of a professional, determined salesperson. It's too bad there wasn't someone at Rugby to explain this to Graham at the time. It would have saved him a lot of aggravation and inconvenience.
Meanwhile, I'd imagine that selling his boat is going to be a painful experience for Graham no matter what; no matter who the broker is. He's being forced by disability to give up a lifestyle he loves, and his boat is a symbol of that lifestyle and selling it will be the ultimate act of closing that chapter of his life. It's only natural that he should feel conflicted and out of sorts about this whole ordeal.

I don't know NFox if they have replied to Bassplayer or what if anything was in the reply. Of course the username maybe a fake and when I let it be know about the three questions... Oh I am quite comfortable with all that I have posted. Learnt a long time ago not to embroider a complaint just keep it honest.

Only two problems with the preparation theory, there was no rain that morning and no viewings of the boat; because I asked if they had had any viewing and was told no nor any booked just before we left. Oh the rain, the incorrectly rolled cratch cover, the roll was full of rain, that told me she had been open for a several days.

I thought maybe you'd just walked in on some preparations for showing. Oh well. I hope you are having better luck with the new broker.

Yes, Paul - how do you explain the battery switch being left on and batteries drained? Go back and read again

No business owner in their right mind would come on an internet forum to defend themselves against a disgruntled customer. The company never comes out looking good when that happens. Normally very true but I saw it once happen on CWDF when Justin from Aqua Narrowboats completely blew somebodies version of events surrounding an issue right out of the water. it was quite entertaining. I just read that thread. I did laugh when I saw that three years ago delta was told if you did not like the way it was being modded, you could start up your own forum.

Just to say Dom did reply to me with his views on this but he has declined to discuss it here. Which TBH isn't surprising really.
All I will say is that I would still be happy to sell my boat through Rugby boats.

Please let me have a copy of that email, I have PMed you my email address Sorry. I ddon't feel it would be right to do that Graham. I'm glad things look promising with your new broker though. That is your choice, however it tells me that that email contains things which you are not sure are true and I will know the truth or otherwise of. Yes all is well with the new broker a viable offer within 3 days rather than Rugby who in over I believe advertised her for 20 days and failed to produce a viable offer for the same boat dressed the same way nothing different except the brokerage. From memory Rugby had her for a month.
