Maybe he was put in deliberately because those in the know knew the shit was going to hit the fan. Sometimes it's best to put incompetent people in as a front while those in charge wreck the place. We all know who will get the blame. Same in the USA with trump. It's a puppet show. Yes its true. And covid is just a trial run for the real virus which will kill 85% of anyone over 30. Sorts out the pension and housing crisis nicely, and no need to develop a cure for dementia just yet. Anyway Trump knows what he is doing. 'Drink bleach'.

Not one party could have expected Covid or know how to deal with it.Boris may be an oik,but could anyone have done better ? I can't help feeling that if this had happened before social platforms etc-we'd have coped better.I'm careful but refuse to be patronised & scared because I'm over 60. We're the oiks dear. Do not call me dear, you patronising oik !

Do not call me dear, you patronising oik ! Sorry luvvee. I recall there's a scene in the film 'If....' where it is explained. But as I have it, 'oik' is a derogatory term used by the privileged classes to describe everyone else. However I also found this: oik an uncouth or obnoxious person. Definitions from Oxford Languages

If lockdown not imposed, keep their deposit. Good way to make money without doing anything! When did they book the cruise/forced-shower-regime?

The TV and my Facebook pages seem to be loaded with cringe worthy adverts imploring us to download the new NHS App to protect our families. I know some on here don't have compatible phones, but for those that do has anyone actually installed the app?

I know some on here don't have compatible phones, but for those that do has anyone actually installed the app? Yes, no issues or problems with it. For those of you with a chalk and slate, just copy the right algorithm onto it with your best handwriting. That'll do the job.

Neither do I want their immunisation if and when it comes along, they will need force to get me to comply, should it become mandatory. I wasn't born free to be corralled into all this bollocks.
