Cheers, did think Chester but then it back down through the locks and risk getting smashed in the nose at Beeston.. π. Cheshire Cat at Christleton would save some locking.

We only went as far as the Cheshire Cat in June ... there's a winding hole just after, good moorings, and it's a couple of miles walk into Chester (buses available).
The Cheshire Cat was closed but I guess it will have opened by now.

Change of plan, again..
Heading to Nantwich for Saturday night, either beers or food, will decide when we get there, then will head towards the lift and see where we end up, might have a little run on the bridgewater, might not, weather will dictate really.
