It's against forum etiquette to target dyslexic people for corrections.
Normally it's obvious over time when people are generally bad at spelling and I consider it bad form to mention it. It's when people who are usually good at spelling or grammer that one should point it out in firm but nauseous/humourous tones.

One is not sure if this applies to virtual meetings such as internet forums.

Actually, since Kris pointed out he is dyslexic, I haven't made any attempt to correct his terrible spelling. There is a spellcheck in the Proboards program though. I use it all the time since my keyboard skills are fairly awful.

I use the radioplayer app on the phone gets a lot of stations, as for unlimited data, it doesn't use much.
Just get a cheap radio from argos or somewhere. You will probably find a cheap DAB, yes I know you don't want it but it's so much better than FM.

We have a Roberts Solar DAB 2, does FM too. Depending where we are sometimes have to put it in a window. Also use BBC Sounds app on phone through Minirig BT Speaker. If you are worried about phone running out of juice fit some usb sockets around the boat. Easy to catch up on stuff you've missed on Sounds too. 2pcs 3.1A Car Dual USB Charger Adapter 2 Port USB Charging Socket Charging Panel Mount 12V-24V for Mobile Phone Tablet Android Devices PDA GPS smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07TVNDY3P/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_F32GV7GD39BY18D61623?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1LOL, fit some USB sockets, there are some, but believe me I don't touch the electrics as they never work properly after they have been worked on by these (three) electricians! I no longer have shore power no longer have car radio, and don't mention the fridge!

You will probably find a cheap DAB, yes I know you don't want it but it's so much better than FM. Basically, I want autonomy, so that if I want to listen to the radio, I just grab it and take it to where I want to listen to it. I don't often take the phone outside the boat as inevitably it will end up in the oggy. DAB needs a special aerial, I don't want any special things, I just want to listen to R4, and not bother with extra bits and that cost extra cash, cause extra gadgetry, and then fail for no particular reason. I live on a steel boat. I inherited a smart TV, but I have never used it, it is used to hide the general boat clutter I accumulate, and need at a minutes notice. If the smart TV will work without any nonsense, I would use it as it has a bigger screen than my tablet or phone, there is no manual but I know it can work if near a mifi modem. I looked at my phone and it can be used as a hot-spot, but as I have no idea what advantage that could possibly be, I have not tried. PS I don't actually have unlimited data on my phone contract, I just set the phone settings to prevent me paying more than £12 pcm, this results in messages saying I have used my data and will be charged for more, but this does not happen. When the contract needed renewed they wanted me to get a new phone, and charge me £24pcm. I declined, seems mad, particularly as they refused to replace the last one they "gave" me and I had to buy one off amazon. I appreciate that my attitude is historic, but back in the day, I had a radio, and I had a phone, a computer and a digital watch, they all functioned independently. This business of spending hundreds on a phone is madness, you are being suckered in by the Bill Gates, and Jeff Bezels of this day, it is Emperor's New Clothes all over again.
