I think we’ll done this Mike on London boaters who has written the complaint and says he is moving to the area and will challenge through the proper channels this behaviour by the council that’s the kind of direct action we need. When we see “authorities” acting questionably. You mean like taking action for dredging by mooring on a sand bar. Do as you are told now.😉 🤣🤣 Twat.

Challenging councils is a long and very costly process. There was a publican local* to @gazza that was picked on by the chief executive officer of the council as he had barred his girlfriend. It has taken 20 years to get it sorted out, the publican lost his pub, his house and his wife and ended up in prison. Council have now settled, it's in the region of £14,000,000 😱 www.northantslive.news/news/northamptonshire-news/kettering-pub-landlord-awarded-14m-6458193*The Snooty Fox, Lowick

It, according to the papers, was the CEO's partner.

Oh I DID get the wrong end of the stick. Ok. Fair enough. Nobody ever claimed you can heat a boat with solar power. Either that or they were pointing out that diesel would never exist in the first place if it were not for the sun. Right. glad to get that one sorted out. I was getting quite excited about these incredibly efficient solar panels I could have potentially fitted to my floating electric beer drinking platform ! Such a disappointment to hear about the diesel. A real let down. And the PM2.5 is horrible from diesel. give me coal or wood any day. Or solar panels. Well Andrew I can heat my boat by solar! But only in the summer, the immersion heater goes into the heat store when the water gets to hot it turns on the central heating, thereby heating my boat with solar, it powers the immersion

And I didn't even need any conversion technology ! Clever shit.

Still ENDC are no more, probably just as well This time it was the good and the great of Grafton Underwood wagging their tongues! ENC really have dropped a massive one with this, annoyingly although we now have two unitary authorities covering the entire county, council tax is still charged and administered using the same old council boundaries meaning we in the old ENC area are likely to burden the cost of this fuck up rather than it being diluted across the whole of North Northamptonshire - the greater good my arse! Corby Council haven’t covered themselves in glory with suspect land deals - not forgetting the infamous contaminated land issues www.eric-group.co.uk/environmental-regulation/contaminated-land/the-corby-case-overspillWellingboroughs Peter Bone isn’t a shining example of probity and has let a once busy market town spiral downwards into something now resembling a post nuclear apocalypse. Kettering has its expense loving MP at the head of town completely on its arse. And that’s before we mention Northampton and the shady NCFC football money. Daventry? No one person can have the blame for that place laying at their feet, it has taken years to perfect the apathy and self serving nature of local government of the town to produce something truly that horrendous, the best thing about Daventry are the roads out of it

So when do we think burning wood will be made completely illegal regardless of location?
Can't be long now.

Given that humans have enjoyed the privilege for a fair while now it seems unlikely.
