In our day to day lives does it matter ?
Is there any real, direct impact on us ?
What party is in government ... in or out of Europe ... monarch or president ... we just get on with it.
Sad innit.

For sure the unelected and un-democratic nature of the EU as it stands is its biggest flaw, while the interminable nature of democracy also sucks. Nothing's perfect. Sometimes it seems autocracy has a lot going for it. The EU is neither. I'm still surprised at the swift cohesion of the EU over the Russian problem though.well sort of ...... maybe ...... sometimes .... providing it doesn't hurt my profit line too much

Sometimes it seems autocracy has a lot going for it. The EU is neither. I'm still surprised at the swift cohesion of the EU over the Russian problem though. The WEF, UN and WHO all seem to be pushing for globalism. Watch out for 'thebfg' telling you that's all a 'conspiracy theory'! When the penny drops, and we all find ourselves owning nothing and tied to a 'social credit scheme' on our smartphones, where the 'authorities' can control your movements, he'll tell you "anybody could have predicted it." Like when the 'authorities' told everyone to Stay At Home and fined those who dared to go to the supermarket more than once a day. Think it can't happen? Already has! "In Britain, the Government will frighten people into wearing face masks and looking silly, and get them to 'test' themselves daily to see if they are ill, and get them to have multiple injections of 'vaccines'." bfg in 2020: "That's just your tin foil hat conspiracy theory." bfg in 2022: "It was to protect others!"

Of course he is. He's a despot. Don't worry, it won't happen till the space aliens show up. Actually a mate of mine a few years ago said... A mate of mine said he went to Australia, and when he got there all there all there was, was a big X floating on the water. You'd be surprised at how many places don't actually exist.

Interesting situation with Austria.
They never did that vaccine mandate. It didn't happen. I bet loads of people think it did happen.
The publicity during all of the covid bollocks was quite impressive. I think the term is "Full on".

Have you been to France recently, without being 'fully vaccinated for Covid' or having had to show a 'negative result' from a 'test'? I expect it's all 'a conspiracy theory' that test results / Vaxx Passes have to be shown.... until you get to the Eurostar check-in at St Pancras and they won't let you on the train without such...

I'm still trying to work out how eu citizens are able to stay here for six months with no visa but we can only stay for half of that in the eu. Doesn't on the face of it seem a very good deal.

Because the totally incompetent negotiators decided that it was not worth pushing for as us British wouldn't want it or use it. Wankers

I avoid France like the Plague / Covid.
Yes the offspring units arrr half french but this means they clear off with the Woman to De La France now and then and I get to stay in Englandland and do general "Important manoovers" in my floating electric beer drinking platform.
I generally quite like this arrangement. No virus, no vaccines, no testing and more beer!
It is awkward for me work out the negatives.
Rain is a nuisance but worse things happen at sea.

What a frightful old trout she is!

In our day to day lives does it matter ? Is there any real, direct impact on us ? Sad innit. Rog It will matter IF a power that be makes it compulsory to have a 'vaccine' where the manufacturer won't disclose all of the ingredients. Then you have a back door to selective genocide. You are right up to a point but how far do we let our freedom of choice get compromised before it's too late.
