I'll call in on the way for the gun assuming you can spare one. I don't have one let alone a spare to lend. If one found a gun when magnet fishing one would try to revive it via electrolysis (I am assuming any such example would be heavily oxidised).

For the first time I can recall, our Christmas lunch shop is complete. Well, apart from the ham, have one in our fridge but it looks kinda sad, bit on the small side. Just debating whether I can be bothered to pop shop and see if I can find a larger one. Happily this is my only problem in life right now. Lovely sunny day, windy but mild. Club visit later for a game of snooker and some beer. Ali won £100 at the annual club bingo last night, sounds good but it’ll all be gone by the time she’s brought everyone a drink tonight. Easy come, easy go huh.

Just got a lamb shoulder, half price from the Coop. Yum. Cook at home with trimmings, take to boat on Xmas Day.

Back to Waitrose Lichfield today to get the meat including a nice sirloin of beef roasting joint for Boxing Day - much quieter than it was yesterday at the same time, thank heavens. All done - phew, can relax now!

All very exciting..
I'll be going out in the launch to the shop and buying exactly the same thing I do every other day when in residence.
I may treat myself to some polo mints or a mars bar as it is notably lighter today.
Fortuitously one of the local shops (A bookers subsidiary) is open on Christmas day. Handy as I do my shopping daily and like the routine.
Its not a corner shop its a proper little $upermarket.
The trappings of endless wealth eh!
Its even more expensive than Waitrose and one doesn't get the rather terribly generic customers in there so much.
Also one of the young ladies behind the counter is to die for.
I shall politely wish her a merry christmas, she will fall into my arms and we can have romantic interludes and cooled spumante beer / wine products in the Floating electric beer drinking platform in the shade of the oriental plane trees in our private backwater. After which we return to the ship for that she may cook the food and make the tea. And more beer.
Then I woke up.

We've banned glitter this year at our house, it's bad for the environment. To be honest, it's been on the cards for years.

Oops that didn't work.
I did once pull a bird and the offsprings are now rapidly exceeding my mental age.
I'd do it again if needed. Quite interested in the biological reproduction imperative other than that not really bothered about other people much.
I expect overall and to be responsible one woman two children thats it is probably actually the right outcome.
