There's nothing to hide. Managing your affairs in a tax efficient manner is perfectly legal. So why hassle Jim for probably managing his affairs in a tax efficient manner? I know I did the same when I worked for myself. I still sleep at night. Judging by your output on here maybe insomnia is a problem for you.

This could be a case of mistaken identity.

I bet ricco and Jim have both been creative with what they claim on their tax returns and Ricco do you declare what you earn being the local handyman? As for donkey he’s too thick to fiddle his tax returns. I ran my own Ltd Company for 15 years, I think I know the difference between fiddling tax returns/tax avoidance/tax efficient ways of accounting.

Make up your mind kris, either I'm too thick to fiddle my tax or I did fiddle my tax and got away with it....

I didn't fiddle my tax when I ran my limited company but I did buy a lot of tools which could be used to repair both trucks and narrowboats.

Happy to contribute, it's towards the healthcare I've made few demands on over the years but more frequently now. kris have you ever been self employed or had to complete a return for other reasons?

I think it's unfortunate that some choose to accuse others, people they've never even met, of being criminals.

I see that polls show at least 25% of parents would remove their children from private education when Labour introduce their promised 20% envy tax VAT addition to fees! So its looking like Labours fantastic new policy will cause state class sizes to rise with no additional money to fund them whilst at the same time, handing back around £30k to certain families who dont appear to need it! 👍 🙄 www.independent.co.uk/news/education/education-news/private-school-fees-vat-labour-b2531694.html

Your maths isn't very good is it...
75% will be paying an extra 20% on a large fee (maybe £30k or more)
25% will now be educated by the state (at a cost of £7,690 for secondary education)
Now lets say there are currently 100,000 in private education all paying 30k a year.
Vat receipts = 75000 x 30k x 20% = £450000000
Cost of educating 25000 by the state = 25000 x £7690 = £192250000
Net result = £257750000 or £275 million per year to improve state education.

Using your figures, theres only going to be an extra 25000 students to accommodate at the local comprehensives per year huh? Suppose they could just sit them in the bike sheds or leave them outside in the playground? 🤷🏻♂️
Same old Labour, penalising those striving for the benefit of daughters and sons.🙄

Assuming a classroom cost 1 million to build, over less than 3 years the cost of building them is covered - other costs are already taken into account...
And don't come back and say there will be an extra 25000 kids per year.
