time for companies to pay their way, time for tax avoidance and evasion to end, time for global companies to pay tax in the countries where they make their profits, none of this will happen under a Tory government. I very much doubt it will happen under a Labour government either ...... where will they get their retirement "directorships " if they make too many enemies in business
The Labour party is more democratic than you think, members can feed in policy ideas through the Labour policy forum to be considered by the relevant Policy Commission as part of an open and democratic policy making process. There's been a lot of discussion around this and Labour MP's in government will be under pressure to deliver. Clearly taxing global companies will require cooperation from other governments but it's definitely an aspiration.

If you thought that the EU were ever going to do a deal you are more naive than Corbyn believing that he could run the country!! Everybody knows the EU is playing silly buggers so why waste time with them? EU have been clear, sort 3 things out first, then move on to trade deals. May and co are playing silly buggers, calling elections, squabbling etc. She has to pander to the right wing though, perhaps that's excuse enough. No matter what is offered it wont be enough or right, any deals on citizens wont work unless they have EU rights in this country, and the border well we arnt bothered Ireland isnt, but the EU is plenty bothered about it. Me I would walk away now and stop wasting time and money on it!

A gentleman was in Stansted Airport, killing time until his next flight was due. He walked into a bar, ordered a drink and sat down at a table. Then, in walks one of the most beautiful girls that he has ever laid eyes on. She delicately walks past him, with a smile, sending the most delicate aroma of perfume in his direction, and sits down at the table opposite. He realises straight away that she is most likely an off-duty air hostess, as she is in uniform - but not being a man that flies very often, and knowing very little about airlines, apart from airline slogans! - he's not sure which airline she works for! He can't keep his eyes off her, she is stunning, and it is like love at first sight!
Hoping to pick her up for a date and to impress her, he quickly recalls some airline slogans!
He leant over to her table and uttered the Delta airlines Slogan "We love to fly and it shows"
She managed a little smile, but at the same time gave him a bit of a blank and confused look.
He immediately thought to himself "Damn, she doesn't work for Delta"!
Two minutes later another slogan popped into his head, he leant over to her table again and uttered the Malaysian Airlines slogan "Going beyond expectations"
This time she didn't smile, gave him a harsh blank stare and an even more confused look.
He now thought "she doesn't work for Malaysian Airlines either, I've got to get it right the 3rd time or I've blown it"
A minute later he leant over to her again and sang the words "b-mi, b-mi, b-mi little baby" in the desperate hope that he would be correct this time in assuming that she worked for BMI.
She suddenly turned on him and said "For fuck's sake you stupid cunt, you're acting like a complete wanker, what in the name of fuck do you want?
He smiled, slumped back in his chair and said "Ahhhhhhhh I've got it, you work for Ryanair!"

The EU isn't going to give us 'a good deal' is it or other countries would want the same and the union would fall apart. David Cameron failed to negotiate for us any better terms with the EU, lost the referendum and now his successor is making us look stupid. Historians will surely look back on Brexit with disbelief. Little Britain hahaha.

Now if enough people believed that the EU was a good thing we would still be in wouldnt we? As for cakes and eating them thats the EU we want this much no no we want this much and when challenged to justify the amount they cant, so we suggested we would pay our 2013 commitment and its not enough it will do for starters etc etc. Panic is amongst the EU the second biggest cash cow is leaving and they dont have any money for their wages and pensions boo hoo who cares none of the leavers that is for sure

Seeing the success that Labour has achieved getting out the young vote through the Momentum movement, Tories recently decided to try getting down with the 'yoof' with their own version....Activate! Here's the website www.activate.uk.net/ amusingly the launch has had to be delayed after a whatsapp group (whatever that is) descended into chaos with talk of gassing chavs! This got taken down but not before the political blogger Guido Faukes had a copy.... order-order.com/2017/08/30/young-tories-joke-about-gassing-chavs-in-activate-whatsapp-group/ Remember folks these are the Tories of the future.

I thought it was immigration? Or wishing for former times? Or being pissed off with Cameron's Cronies? Or getting out of bed the wrong side that day? There were a whole multitude of reasons. The problem is half the country don't want to leave, more of them are young and see their future being restricted to a little island. A good few who voted to leave would no doubt have been happy to serve Hitler in a united Europe, if he had won. We are seeing the rise of his spawn in Germany again now too. The whole shebang is a mess.

I think people forget what Corbyn promised the young to get them to vote for him, Free uni plus cancellation of debts for students already at uni who was going to pay for this us of course. After the election he had to remove the promises when it was pointed out that it would bankrupt the country. I have said this before and I will say it again if it wasnt for Brexit I would have let him form a minority Government, then spent the next few years stopping all his bills and putting through tory private member bills. It would have been so much fun and of course would have destroyed him forever.

Nobody has mentioned the promise to bring back all the Pfi schemes back into public ownership, how the hell are we going to afford that one?

Whether or not Jeremy Corbyn promised to cancel historic student debt is debatable however he did allow the media to create that impression, that we have to live with. It hasn't damaged the parties ratings with young voters though..... "More than twice as many voters under the age of 45 think Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour party is now “on their side”, compared with those who believe the same about Theresa May’s Tories, according to new polling that will send shockwaves through the Conservative party. The survey for the Social Market Foundation (SMF) by Opinium shows it is not just voters in their teens and 20s but also those in their 30s and young middle age who now believe that the Tories do not speak for them."More here.... www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/sep/30/poll-conservatives-jeremy-corbyn-young-people

Nobody has mentioned the promise to bring back all the Pfi schemes back into public ownership, how the hell are we going to afford that one? Well we're already committed to paying vastly inflated prices for these so obviously 'bringing them back in house' will actually save money
