I'm watching developments with Trump and his decision to recognise Jerusalem as capital of Israel with interest.
It's almost as though he is poking a stick in a wasps nest to see what happens before making any more long term decisions about the Middle East and the US's interests in Saudi, well the world really.
The probable aim of any powers that be is world control (has that ever changed?). There is still a lot of suspicion and opposition in the world to this idea and things like Brexit are a threat to any such New World Order occurring.
This decision, or threat, will sew two seeds in everyone's mind. What can happen if power goes to the head of one person running a large country (never mind the world). Also, what can happen if the world don't unite to prevent a single person from cocking things up for the rest of us.
It's a paradox really. If we all unite, then it's all to easy then for the powers that be to jump in and take control. If we don't unite, then the powers that be will sit back and watch as we all blow each other to bits, then jump in.
I suppose it all depends whether the powers that be have good intentions or bad in the end.

We should remember that most of Trump's bluster is about initiatives that have since been blocked or delayed by the 2 houses of government. What changes have actually been implemented since he came into office?
I hope/expect that the various investigations ongoing just now will be looked back on as 'Trumpgate' and that he will be impeached during 2018.

Well..when I was at school my history teacher said it was because they worked hard, amassed wealth that people got jealous and used the excuse that they killed Jesus to victimise them and kill them.... Guess probably not quite as simple as that....

Guess probably not quite as simple as that.... It's a part of life I've never understood.. I've visited a few concentration / extermination camps with one of my daughters but never managed to get an actual answer to where the hatred came from? I've experienced a form of Jewish arrogance / revenge when we were at Berkenhou (sic) where a branch of the Jewish police/armed forces were hogging the photo of the rail entrance to the death camp....for reasons I fully understand, but when I requested to get a pic for my daughter of the entrance gates, I was told that it was their place now and their needs were more important than anyone else there.... basically an arrogence i couldnt relate to, thinking only they were important! I dunno...a tough subject! Ill I'll try find if I've any pics of the Jewish police taking over!

This is the only one I kept alas... I fully understand their stance towards the place that they were at but their stance that they had control and everyone else basically can get to fook was a bit sort of ...well!!!🙄🙄 They should be encouraging young people like my daughter to take a thought interest in ensuring it can never happen again, something that day they failed miserably to do! !

There is a belief among some people that Jews are ferociously self centred and that they will do aggressive things to the detriment of others simply to enrich or serve themselves (e.g. robert maxwell, Philip green). This is human nature but it is possible to conduct business ethically as well. And obviously there will be scum non Jew business people as well! I believe the hate must come from somewhere. Perhaps it is the apparent domination of the financial system by Jews which people dislike. Everyone needs money (obviously) so perhaps some people object to the perceived idea that it gets funnelled away to rich Jews who sit counting it and their gold while making other people into their servants. Apparently Jews are around 0.2% of the world population. And Https://www.timesofisrael.com/10-jews-in-forbes-top-50-billionaires/I don't believe that "hard work" makes billions. Its something else doing that and in my opinion its rather unattractive and could be partly responsible for the hate they get. I'm not that bothered but I don't think its necessarily inexplicable.

Unfortunately we as humans don't seem too great at discerning between what's good and bad. Maybe we do need to ask for divine inspiration at times. The trouble is that humans seem good at highjacking that too with brainwashing and alike for selfish motives.

I fear one reason Jews seem to attract hatred is that neither they nor many outside Judaism will accept there is a difference between the Jewish religion and Zionism. I see this as two distinct things. Criticise The sate of Israel and Jews and others immediately allege you are anti-Semitic rather than acknowledge the Israeli state may have faults and questions to answer. I can see no reason why all religions and none can not peacefully live together but we have extremists from all sides making that difficult. I do find the way Israelis seem to immediately scream holocaust when criticised very annoying and makes me want to tar all Jews with the same brush.
Of course Trump wants to curry favour with rich members of the Jewish Faith , he is going to need campaign funds in a year or two. Ordinary folk can go taker a hike in his book.
Edited to add - Although I do not know much about it I suspect the Jewish faith or some sects within the Jewish faith engenders a sense of entitlement and even supremacy within its followers that is far from attractive.

I wonder how many people in this world have died as a result of fighting over stereotypes or labels? If we just accepted there is good and bad in all of us as individuals at different times, it would be a lot easier. The big thing I've learnt in recent years is that when we judge others, we judge ourselves. It still makes me feel uncomfortable at times. It's still interesting talking about this kind of stuff though despite not really having any answers.
