If I was still in the "wilds" of Northamptonshire I might well be tempted to get a decent crossbow. Silent, no licence required, will easily kill a rabbit or a muntjak if you are a decent shot. What's not to like My one and only regret of moving 10 years ago was losing the ability to shoot around the Podington area, we had so many rabbits it was ridiculous - at one point I thought the dog would get bored of it!

D&H do excellent cakes and bakewell tarts from their local produce bit. I say local it is/was Maidford. That I do miss, might have to get some tarts next time I am up at the boat.

It's actually quite awkward to get hold of a crossbow. If it came to the apocalypse situation I reckon garages and sheds will be an easier solution and a strobe light. Β Various sites seem to be selling them Including; www.preppersshop.co.ukOh yes. I wonder if they have run out of stock.
