There are 790,000 people claiming jobseekers allowance. How can the government claim that we need more and more people to come in to the UK. Are new jobs suddenly invented and waiting for these new incomers. The population of the UK is aging and the country needs the youth to help pay the pensions. There are some 500,000 between the ages of 18-24 out of work and not in full-time education.
There can be only one reason that would point to the need for more and more people to come into the UK and that would be a jobs increase and all the unemployed would be at work and employed. There is no jobs surplus in the UK, to cater for new incomers. There is already a surplus of available people in the jobs market; this is one factor that would help to keep wages down. There's no need for more unemployed coming to the UK, to make matters worse.
It is a fallacy to say this mobile European workforce is essential. The only thing that is essential is making sure the opportunities are there for the UK unemployed and that those people are employable.

Now I'm hearing the warning from George Osbourne that if we leave the eu, there is the terrifying prospect that housing will become more affordable.

They're so concerned with appealing to the avarice in peoples' nature. That is partly why the government are prepared to use £4 billion of taxpayers money to back the right to buy schemes and up the voting numbers.

I think it depends on whether you believe those driving the government actually want to help us. While everyone is spinning around in circles moaning about things like immigration, BREXIT, pensions, finding jobs etc the exreeme rich continue to get richer. They are the ones calling the shots in this 'democratic' capitalist country (Europe..World..?).

They have little interest in the wellbeing of the general public; that just gets paid lip service.

The trouble is that for the first time we have a situation where such a few can control so many in this world. The media is such a powerful tool. The further power is pushed up the chain the less power individuals have. Until those in power can be trusted and are seen to have the right moral fibre I don't want to see us being part of the EU. Maybe there are some nice people in powerful positions? If so, who are they? I think it's a catch 22 really. You need to have a big ego to do the job, so we are controlled by those with big egos. It's just that they can potentiality do more damage now with modern technology.

There are 790,000 people claiming jobseekers allowance. I wonder how many of those have been in the country more than 5 years, how many of those have ever been in work, and what their religious and ethnic backgrounds are. And how many of those actually want to work. Anyway, it's Government Statistics, I'm sure the figure is more like 6,000,000.

It was only last night that I noticed a BREXIT film on every page of Youtube. Watched some of it then decided to download it and watch on a telly at a friend's tonight.
I was looking for something unrelated to the Brexit topic. Miss Dynamite and, DJ Markey. Not my usual choice of listening. The fellas at work working on the high voltage looms play some rubbish, with a few exceptions, mostly driving me up the wall. I was looking for a couple of the exceptions.
One after thought. Would the campaigners who uploaded the video have to pay Google alot of money to get the video plasted all over or are Google supporting Brexit.

Finland now wants to train these 'Syrian war refugees' (Iraqis, Afghanistanis, Pakistanis, north Africans.... but no Syrians!) (and all of fighting age, fit-looking young men with fancy iPhones and Sony Walkmans, who have simply sauntered over the border from Sweden) to be computer code specialists! And pumping millions of Euros into this scheme to 'integrate' them into Finnish society. What??!!
How comes no-one thought to do this for the Finnish unemployed?
Nothing quite like getting Islamists to hack into your own systems and fuck the whole country up! They've already had a go at Sweden's air traffic control and the railway ticketing system there this week.

Whats the general consensus on here as how its going to end up ? I think the IN camp will probably win but not with sufficient number to kill the issue.

I think the lemmings will commit democratic suicide and be swayed by the wallet argument. I'm trying to have more faith in peoples' common sense, though.

The other problem with modern technology is that you can alter the '1's' and '0's' which represent us now...

I to be honest have been disappointed with the Brexit Campaign,it hasn't caught fire in my opinion, a couple of Tories have grabbed the polar opposites for Political Advancement and this is what we are left with
