Chlorinated hormone and antibiotic riddled chicken, anyone? Vegetables and lettuce sold in Finland already washed with chlorine, thanks. Who knows what conditions are like in Lithuanian and Bulgarian abbattoirs? Not very nice, I expect. I've posted this before, anybody who eats out gets chlorine washed salads plus any food thought worthy of attention Chlorine washing is "Milton" and boaters drink plenty of the stuff, it was used as a scare tactic Phil

We are all carrying 1 kilogramme of microbes inside us right now. Our very own pets. Yep, looking after the friendly stuff is good.
Where do you zap the unfriendly stuff is just as important.
Chicken from USA zapped with chlorine Wild free range monkey/bat/fox from Wuhan zapped with chlorine Pork from the UK/EU raised with welfare/food standards that beat most countries but not zapped with chlorine
Take your choice (either in eating or production)...

Good read John, made me smile as further down was the Nissan thing, I read about it yesterday, rather than close down Sunderland they are going to close down the French and Spanish operations and concentrate on the UK market electric cars and vans anybody?

The article is equally misleading as Nissan deny the existence of any such plan.

Why is the UK reliant on Japan for making cars? Why not make British cars of which to be proud? The Japanese should be buying British cars, not the other way around!

Maybe todays announcement about phasing out IC cars might prompt the beginning of a new UK car industry. Wouldn't that be pleasant. UK made electric cars.
I know the UK is in theory 'crap at making things' but there is a new generation of youngsters surely they have some technical knowledge and get-up-and-go.
