If you've been vaccinated, why would it be an issue for you if I haven't been? And as for the "conspiracy theorist" bit, I said from the Get Go that the dangers were being hugely exaggerated, that the hysteria and fear dials were being set to max, and the 4,000 deaths per day prediction by Public Health England and Cambridge University was utter nonsense. And guess what? Guess what, there was a lockdown or two which meant that the predictions of unrestrained virus deaths didn’t materialise. There was no proper 'lockdown'. Shops were open all the time. B&Q, Tesco's, Sainsbury's, Asda, Lidl, Waitrose, WH Smith - and all the pubs/restaurants - eat out to help Rishi's fiddling mates a buck*. Planes flying non-stop - check out flightradar24. London Underground trains crammed. *"Exposed - the £250k Eat Out to Help Out scam: How the Lamborghini-driving boss of a huge Papa John's pizza franchise got a big slice of YOUR cash" www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8821117/Millionaire-Papa-Johns-franchisee-suspected-250-000-Eat-Help-scam.html

But but but... If you are against vaccines you are by definition an anti vaxxer. What if you are against this new 'Covid-19 vaccine' but happily accept other vaccines such as those for smallpox and clowns? I'm not an anti-Vaxer, I find the carpet cleaning function very handy. Of course terms like that are all part and parcel of the divide and conquer shit we are exposed to on a daily basis. I'm sure most of us had booster shots when we were in our teens, shots at the dentists, shots at the doctors when we were going abroad. I have no problem with vaccines SO LONG as I trust they are safe. That trust also depends on how much I trust our government....and there is the problem. BTW, going back to a post by Nick you referenced. The lock down may have had a good impact on the virus, but there is little evidence to reference that against. Well except areas in the world where lockdown wasn't used as the primary measure.

Anyway, I doubt this lockdown will get extended over December I'll bet you £5 it will carry on until next August. I wouldn't book a Summer holiday through a travel agent if I lived in Britain.

Anyway, I doubt this lockdown will get extended over December as there is too much profit to be made by large corporations...and Boris promised.... Who is going to make money over Christmas who isn't currently making money out of this? Here's the John Lewis ad with the obligatory multicultural families bollocks. I did note they forgot to include a black snowman - racists!!

Oh hell I watched 25 seconds and suddenly couldn't find my vomit bag quick enough.
That's going to be a nuisance to clean up.
Oh well we live and learn.

Certainly I've noticed what Ricco has noticed, the incredibly partisan coverage of news of the vaccine- somewhat akin to "If you don't believe in God, you will burn in Hell". I thought you went to a proper school? Didn't they teach you that debate is a healthy thing? Is it really outlandish to suggest that a vaccine developed in a matter of months cannot possibly have been tested to a satisfactory standard when the process normally takes 15 years? How can it have been tested on pregnant women and proven not to cause birth abnormalities when Covid has only been a thing for the same length of time as the female gestation period? And certainly yes, it is a hoax to the degree that the predicted dangers back in February has been nowhere near matched by the reality we have all seen in everyday life- not the television. The empty and deserted Nightingale Hospital at the NEC which I drove past this week is testament to that. If I choose not to have the vaccine, how does that detrimentally affect you in any way if you have had the vaccine? The reason why the nightingale hospitals weren’t used was because we had a lockdown that proved effective. "The first one left hundreds of thousands out of work and homeless, created a huge looming mental health crisis, killed cancer patients thanks to them having their treatments stopped and didn’t even stop the virus from spreading in the long run. And yet despite all that we’re having a second one?" "We haven’t really got a second lockdown though, have we? 80% are still working, at school etc. It’s just the hospitality industry and some shops that are shut, oh and probably all civil service offices. It’s a carry on working but you’re not allowed to enjoy yourself lockdown. We are becoming like the USSR, being told what to do and losing personal freedom and choices." "I see that the government will be intruducing the ‘freedom pass’ in January. For a mere £5 you can get a fast track covid test, which if the result is negative allows you to go to a gig or sports event that day. Well, isn’t that nice of them. I’m just wondering when for a mere £50, you can have a barcode tattooed on your forehead that allows you to go to work." "George Orwell would be horrified, if he could see what was happening. The best days have gone."

And the Russians are going to do a land invasion.
It's terrible.
ETA this is classified information but I have just been sacked from MI6 so what the heck.
Time to look for another roll.

A pie would be more full filling. Recent news is saying that taking lots of Vitamin D Is A Good Thing. Fights Coronavirus.

It must be quite funny being a Tory. Having no opposition means you can just do whatever you like and be completely incompetent and still get back into office.
The simple fact is the next PM will be a Tory and not someone elected by the public. Then at the next election it will be Tories again. And so on and so on.
I'm not particularly political but would fall on the Labour side if being political was a requirement.
I do often wonder if the whole Brexit thing was partly an attempt to bury Labour for a long time. If it was then the tories should be very grateful for the "he looks well dodgy" man with the eyesight issue.

What they need is a 'New Labour'...ah...they tried that. Things only realy change when enough people are pissed off enough to make a change. I guess we must all be happy at the moment.
