I've been considering the viability of the Yaris as a camper. The rear seat folds flat but the front passenger seat is a bit tricky.

Remove it.
That way you also have a reason to refuse to give hitchhikers a lift.

Talking of fast cars, we bought a BMW I3 Rex yesterday, Today Jayne discovered just how fast electric cars are, apparently 0 - 30 is quicker than the V8 BMW M3, 0 - 60 its a close run thing as well! The upshot was Jayne showed a hot hatch a clean pair of heels coming out of a roundabout he nearly blew it up trying to catch her, she was oblivious to what she had done š¤Ŗš»š I remember in the mid 90ās there was talk of a 1.8TD Escort being quicker in gear from 30-50 than its RS Cosworth sibling - on balance I think Iād rather have the RS and drive it properly! I think there was similar talk about the MG Meastro turbo having a very narrow edge over the RS at a very specific speed range - that little win could never be enough to want one over an Escort! Never liked the maestro but my dad once had the montego, vandem plus and to be fair I thougb it was a pretty decent car for the time.

The charging point thing is interesting. What happens if other people have the same idea? There are 4 at a Tesco I go to and I regularly see all 4 occupied. How do they police these? Is there a fine for overstaying or could you just leave your car there all day if you wished? I know the i3 has a range extender in some models (petrol engine generator) so you are not obliged to find a charging point but it seems to be an interesting subject. Can you book a charging point in advance and what would stop someone else parking there? Fights will break out. A pub I went to a couple of years ago had two Tesla charging points both of which were occupied by German diesel engined vehicles. What do you do? Go in the pub and shout "Oi, I am a Tesla driver!!" As mush as tesco and their car park operators want to they can't fine anyone. They are first come first serve.

I think the law has been changed and they can be removed for trespass, they are removing business from the supplier so damage has occurred. In America they block them with trucks, I have seen a Tesla model S four wheel drive version dragging one of the trucks away on a you tube video, fairly funny as they filmed the owners reaction when he returned to discover his truck was gone! If the site is signposted correctly in this country, I suspect you will find your car clamped or uplifted and a fairly large sum of money to get it back will have to change hands

I know it is, which is why I mentioned the changing of the law, Its becoming a real issue and a loss will have occurred if a vehicle cant charge, so I have read they are going to change it just for blocking EV charging points. As it is for most you will be fined as long as the signage is correct which has been the case for years.
