Problem with small cars is that they are shit, shit to drive and look shit, then when you work out how much you save per month for looking like a big girl, you dream of a mans car again. Not always !!!
For a while I was driving round in a Fiat X19 tiny thing with the same engine as a Fiat 128.
It was a glorious little car, fabulous handling.
Everytime I drove it I had this silly grin on my face !!! It was just pure Fun!!!
I think it was the only car I have ever driven where I used to go up and down the box just to hear the noise.
Italian exuberance stamped all the way through it
Wouldn't class that as an economic small car though.

At least Saab departed g acefilly rather than selling out to the Chinese !
Oh.
Gracefully. Not sure what happened there about the autocorrect as I have never seen the word "acefilly" used before.
Maybe it is an equestrian term.

I was carted about in Volvos when I was little. 244 and 360 and a 440 as well. The old man was a bit of a fan.

This one is quite funny. I had to go and check it out in case it was really good but the cabin is made of plywood. themarket.co.uk/listings/suzuki/jimny/d531a771-217c-41b4-aff5-5409bf315ee7?status=liveCould have been done better really. Not bad but ply is going to be a problem however well executed it is. I had a look under the back and there were raw edges of 12mm ply. Yes ok it might be marine ply but that WILL delaminate. It will happen. I was really hoping it was going to have an aluminium body on it. Or GRP. They had some SERIOUSLY nice motors in the same warehouse. Including a DeLorean. Not every day one sees a DeLorean. And a mint VW Scirroco Storm. Among some other VERY attractive motorcars. If you like car porn then a browse of their listings is very worthwhile

There was one I used to see (when I was a teenager) around the Essex villages, painted in Lutwaffe camouflage which I thought was the most hilariously brilliant vehicle ever.
