I told a few people about at the demo in London, but for a lot of people Facebook is the preferred method of communication. I prefere the forum format myself I think it's easier to have a discussion on a forum. I know nothing of Facebook Kris,is it not possible to post a link to Thunderboat on their Facebook Page.(London Boaters) and of course the K&A I think we are maybe missing an opportunity as a Forum. If I knew how to do it I'm shure it is, maybe a more Facebook savy person will come along and do it.

I watched the second article as well still not changed 40 -50 boaters complaining 30k boats on the water it wasnt enough [these articles never are]. It has to be better otherwise NBTA will be picked of one by one. I have no doubt at some point social service will end up involved, because children are missing schooling, plus the lady who said I need to be near Milton Keynes did no good at all, CRT response will be get a mooring! I can see court cases ahead thats when it will all get interesting, but I think the majority of boaters will be more worried about the shit that the NBTA are causing than anything else

Like many others, you just sit on the internet banging the keys. Pumping out your so called opinion and boxed in views. You never get off your ass and attend any of these events. To be honest, you have no credibility when spouting on here, because you have developed your little life bubble, and refuse to share it or step outside of it. If you feel so strongly about this stuff, go to an event and say summat. Your armchair views are frankly Fuckin boring.

Why are CRT not issuing 6 month licences anymore, and going for a draconian immediate refusal of licence renewal ?
Why would they want to get involved in thousands of section 8 court cases, at huge cost to themselves , and not do everything to solve this out of court ?

I think they did try to phase them out, but ended up doing a uturn

They have phased out 3 month licenses but 6 month ones remain. As for me attending meetings why? I like the majority of boaters dont have any problems so why would we bother? The only boaters I see in enforcement are the ones taking the piss very small number I admit. So from CRTs point of view get rid of the piss takers the problem goes away

Read what you have just written. You don't attend any meetings.-The only boaters you see in enforcement.-So from CRT's point of view, get rid of the pisstakers. You know absolutely fuck all, because you see or hear fuck all that's not in your bubble. You and a few others are like those annoying bloody toy fluffy dogs that I see sometimes at markets. Bouncing about and yapping in a cat litter tray, having no real purpose, but springing into action every time some idiot sticks a bloody Duracell up your ass. Fuckin pathetic.

You will find after all the boaters you dont want on the cut are gone, CRT has put in place, and set a precedent for a host of unlawful rules, that trample over the legislation that was designed to protect you, and you let them do it.

You are missing the point I am being the devils advocate the cwdf view if you want, that is how most boaters view the issue its not that they are blind idiots or whatever you think. The boaters in enforcement are small numbers which means the majority of boaters dont see problems. They are not going to support NBTA because they dont see that viewpoint. In fact the NBTA may well cause the happy boaters problems which will then make CRT seem like child minders in comparison. I know you dont like this which is why you are on here and not CWDF, but CWDF do represent the views of the majority of boaters

You are joking about cwdf representing the majority of boaters aren't you Pete? Or are you just saying it to get a reaction? I find it difficult to believe you actually think that's true.

I tell you what I have noticed, especially on the thread regarding last nights coverage of NBTA and thats a change of attitude from some of the usual suspects, that change goes from people suggesting NBTA set out their stall regarding what change they want,to some even fearing that their way of life will be changed forever should CRT attempt draconian change.I felt the attitude towards NBTA much more conciliatory.Did anyone else think that?I don't know.

Thanks, you just made my day...lol...

I picked up on a certain fear factor among your kindred brethren Peter, reading the thread regarding last nights TV coverage. Its good that you confirm that.
